BIOGRAPHY

Born in 1998, Jenny Patraporn Thongplengsri is an artist from Bangkok, Thailand, with a passion and experience in Visual arts, Music, Creative Writing, Animation and Film-making.
Jenny started visual arts from a young age and has achieved numerous global and national awards such as the Scholastic Arts, Region at Large Awards (gold key, silver keys and honourable mentions in the fields of Digital Arts and Jewellery). She has been selected to participate in many art programs by institutions such as Honda (Japan), Microsoft and Southeast Asian SEASAC Arts festival. Her original works have been displayed in exhibitions and galleries in Bangkok and other countries.
In addition to visual arts, Jenny has created work in other art fields such as creative writing and film-making. Her original short film was the only film by a middle school student that was selected to screen as a semifinalist in Thailand's national film festival "9FilmFest" in 2012. Her animated music video for the song "Till We Meet Again" was given the "Award of Merit: Animation" by "The Indie Fest" in 2020.
At the age of 14, Jenny first stepped into the world of music by self-recording and releasing her first original music EP "Just a Thought" (2013). She also submitted an audition video to Sony Music Thailand and was selected to perform on the SOUND BLAST stage in "Sonic Bang The Ultimate International Music Festival", featuring other Thai and international artists such as Jason Mraz, Owl City, Pitbull, Epik High, Scandal, and Rain, through a nation-wide open audition in Impact Arena, Thailand's biggest music venue. Jenny was also selected as one of the finalists in "Cornetto's Ride to Fame", a competition to find the opening act for Taylor Swift's Red tour in Thailand (2014). Under Sony, she was given the opportunity to train as a developing artist; writing, recording, and performing music Thailand's best producers for three years.
Jenny graduated from Berklee College of Music in 2019 as a vocalist, majoring in "Professional Music" with concentrations in songwriting, music recording, production and arrangement, with a Scholarship and Cum Laude honour. During her time there, Jenny has self-released her first album "Just a Thought" (2018), singles "Nean" (2018), Porlaew (2019) and many other collaborations with international peers. She has performed in various notable venues such as the "Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts" (NYC), "Berklee Performance Center" (Boston) and collaborated in different genres with peers from all over the world.
Jenny is now working as a session musician, singer-songwriter, producer and visual artist in Bangkok, Thailand. She is currently working her new album and collaborations to expand her artistic visions and explore what she has to offer to the world through her creativity.
